Our Canine Good Citizen Prep class is designed to prepare you to take the CGC Test. To enroll in this class, your pup must meet the following criteria: have taken and passed our CDL2 class or equivalent, and be at least 6 months old, with a preference of 1 year. Your pup should be comfortable being handled and neutral around other dogs.
During the class, you will practice the 10 test items required to receive your certificate. You can familiarize yourself with the test by visiting the AKC website or clicking here: CGC Test Items.
Dogs must be up to date on vaccines and show proof of current DHPP and Rabies vaccinations
Frequency and Duration: This is a 1 hour per week class held for 6 weeks. The test is given in week 6.
